Union members facing financial hardship may be eligible for help from Union Plus - including new grants for qualified union members who are disabled, laid off or facin g large hospital bills. To help union members in these tough economic times, Union Plus has launched a new program called Union SAFE. Union SAFE offers union members college savings grants, credit counseling services, hospital care grants, job loss grants, mortgage assistance and a Save My Home Hotline to help any union member having trouble making mortgage payments avoid foreclosure (1-866-490-5361).
